Hello Julie,

Thanks for that one. I'm not sure. That would mean Mary Jane returned to SA. The family arrived in SA 1847-1848 and moved to Victoria between 1853 and 1855 from birth and death records in both states.

Mary Jane is listed in 1855 as the only surviving child aged 6 on her father's death certificate. At least one researcher believes she died within a year, so 1855 or 1856. From the reg of cousins born in Victoria the name can be Nancarrom, Mancarrow, ...
