Im not finding the marriage etc tho.

Watching antique roadshow a couple months back and they had some art work on there from a fella in Australia and i think it might have been your fella :confused: Trying to find it to see.

Yep and the births before marriage are under Brown but with Gracious as father. Wonder if Jane was still married at that time hence under Brown.

I now have the images of those baptisms.

Mother's maiden name for the Sydney one looks to be Grisdale and James was a publican.

Mother's maiden name for the Dapto one looks to be Gamble and James was a farmer.
