They married in Stathern 30 June 1845

George Marriott of Hathorn, of full age and Jane Spyser of Stahern, aged 20. His father was John Marriott, Labourer and hers Robert Spyser, Labourer. Witnesseswere John Marriott and Phabe Spyser.

I searched the passenger lists of about 10 vessels that arrived in Nelson and didn't find the family.

Reply from the museum.

Bishell, David, arrived Nelson 21 April 1876 "Fernglen" (ship) bound for Marlborough, age 26, ploughman from Leicester
also Mary age 27, George Henry 3, Mary J. 1 and Sarah A. 3 months.
