At Holycross Church, Wooloowin, on January 30, Claude Miles, second son of the Hon. the Minister for Mines and Mrs Jones, was quietly married to Mary, the elder daughter of W. M. and Mrs Morrison, Chillagoe, the Rev. Father Walsh officiating. After the ceremony a reception was held at Ban Ban, the residence of the bridegroom's parents in honour of the young couple, who later left per motor car for Sandgate, where the honeymoon was spent. Mr and Mrs Morrison will shortly return to thelr home at Chillagoe, Mr Jones being on the staff of the State smelters.
