Alice Maud nee ALLAWAY married Alfred Ernest, son of John & Emma.

Louden's wife Martha Jane in her Will left a bequest to 'Maud' but I can't see the connection.

John & Emma did name a son James Louden. The 2x John must be related somehow back in Ireland but it's all before civil reg.

I've found nothing to show Margaret's husband left Ireland.

Can anything be found to show that Margaret's son James was a draper?

Can a connection be found between Martha COLE and Alice Maud ALLAWAY?

Thanks Geoff.

Yes, please send it.

There is no sign of him in Victoria. Age at death is not a good fit and father is listed as James.

I think that must be an error saying from Scotland.

It has to be them. Not a common name.

I'm still not sure if that is the right one in Tasmania. The only one found who nearly fits.

Thanks Geoff.

Not a common name but there is another family in Victoria who arrived earlier. I have not found any connection and I don't even know if they were from Scotland or Ireland.

That looks to be another Margaret as mine lived in Ballarat area. Fitzroy is a Melbourne suburb.

GSV - Non-member search
McCOUBRIE, M Ballarat Gazetted 22/01/1869
