Medicine Teacher?

I had a Grt Aunt who worked in the George Muller Children's Homes in Bristol. She began work there in 1910 and we believe stayed until she retired. Sadly the homes have very little in the way of records about their staff. They have been able to tell us however that she worked there as a medicine teacher. Does anyone have any idea what this job would have been exactly please?
Thank you for any help anyone is able to give.
