I have a Thomas Miller of the Parish of Prescot marrying a Lydia Rutter of the Pariah of Ormskirk, at Sts Peter and Paul, Ormskirk on 8 September 1807 by Licence

Lancs opc and FreeReg both have the groom down as John Miller but I have seen the image of the original entry and it definitely says Thomas.

My problem is the fact that I cannot find a copy of the marriage bond/licence anywhere. There is nothing coming up on either fmp or fs. I have tried John Miller/Millar and Thomas Miller/Millar and Lydia Rutter but nothing.

Can anyone else find it, please.

Many thanks

I can't find the marriage on Ancestry, but on Family search it's been transcribed as Thomas Miller and Lydia Rutter.

So little info on this marriage

You may have seen the image for Elizabeth's bap. 1812.. It confirms Thomas Miller [servant] and Lydia Rutter as parents..

There is this search facility, I haven't done an exhaustive search of variant names...

Yes I have Elizabeth's baptism, and those of her eight siblings.

Many thanks for the link. Unfortunately the marriage bond isn't there. I can only presume that it is one, probably of many, which hasn't survived the passage of time. Still, at least I have a copy of the original Register entry.
