Milner Family.

I have just discovered more relitives from Middlesex Eng. they are John and Ann or Annie Milner. they were married in 1862 at Clerkenwell. Ann's maiden name was Stow, She was born in Kent 1837. Would like to know about the Milners.

I found this family on the 1851 census minus Ann

Civil parish Islington, reg dist Islington,

Jane Stow age 53 born Liverpool
John Stow age 73 born Ipswich Suffolk occ book binder

1861 census

civil parish Clerkenwell, reg dist Clerkenwell , sub reg dist Goswell Street

address 66 Myddleton Street

Ann Elizh Stow dau age 24 born Margate Kent occ jewel case liner
Jane Stow head widow age 63 born Liverpool

Cant find this family on 1841 census as of yet, looks as if they may have been mistranscribed, nor can i find Ann on the 1851 census.

If you have Ann's fathers name and occ, then this might establish if they are the right family.

Hi Julie. That sounds like Ann's parents, John and Jane Stow. John was a bookbinder. I found Ann's birth and marriage, but no death.I think she lived in Ventnor, Isle Of Wight Hampshire. That's where her son and daughter were born in 1868 and 1871. I hope it's the right family?
