Emmeline Whent was born after her parents married and her mmn was GRIGGS.

If that is the right marriage in 1881 after Minnie was born then I'd expect Whent as mmn or no mmn but why Moore?

Can't see a death for Emily so do we have two Walter Lilly/Lilley's?
Somehow I don't think so. I think Minnie is the daughter of William and Emily, that Emily possibly died in childbirth and Walter married again to Emmeline.

Emmeline is proving to be a problem as well. In 1911 Census she gives pob as Broadmere Suffolk but I can't find a Broadmere in Suffolk.

FreeBMD has a birth

Emmeline Whent Dec 1856 Sudbury 4a 350 and Gro has mmn as Griggs. I can't find a Whent/Griggs marriage. (Sudbury is on the Suffolk/Essex border)

Can't find Emmeline in 1861 and in 1871 she's living with her grandparents, no sign of parents.

I've tried the Suffolk Baptism list on fmp but no sign of her nor do they have a possible Whent/Griggs marriage.

Will keep trying!

If Emmeline Lilley/Epprett is Edward Bone's mother in law then that implies she is Minnie's mother. If she married Charles in 1891 that is 10 years after Minnie's birth so no way was she a spinster when she married. Widow yes but spinster - I don't think so.
