Thanks gibbo.

3x Samuel & Elizabeth

Children born Camden, Hartley and Dubbo - none of those near Cootamundra.

Miriam is the connection to my tree.

Looks to be the right one. Camden and Wesleyan fit. Thanks.

Rev Duesbury is in my tree as well. :)

That's a T' for Thompson one.

4040/1881 THOMPSON GUSTARIUS - WARD MIRIAM E - COOTAMUNDRA * 8 Feb 1881 * Not CofE *

The Ward family moved from Camden to Cootamundra then.

Have not started 'W' yet.

I'd better find another query.

Daves post....V1854455 85/1854 NASH JOSEPH - GOODLUCK REBECCA - IA

Chippendale Chapel - Widow and widower - No ages so which Joseph Nash is that?
Death NASH REBECCA 4650/1892 THOMAS K - MARY - COOTAMUNDRA

Dave - you are not going to believe this but this is our family of Kings..
Thomas King convict came out in 1810 on "Indian" - and Rebecca was his 1st daughter born to Mary Lamb nee Dowling/Doolan who came out in 1798 on "Pitt", her parents were militial and died onboard - she married in 1811 to a John Lamb and then she tried to marry Thomas King in 1813, but as she was already married wasn't registered.. and Rebecca was b 1813 - named after Mary's mother..
Thomas and Mary eventually married 27 Sept 1849 after the death of John Lamb.

On the Marriage to Thomas King which took place at Bong Bong near Berrima, Thomas a Batchelor married Mary Dolan a Widow signing their full names and at that time they had nine children – what an event that must have been..

Also it’s interesting that on Mary’s death certificate just has a Mother noted as Rebecca and she named her 1st daughter Rebecca in 1813.
Their 1st child Rebecca was born in 1813 – married 26 Oct 1835 Cobbity NSW to Joseph Goodluck who seemed to spend a fair bit of time on the wrong side of the Law and he died 17 June 1845 in Tassie, (they had 5 children) her 2nd marriage in 1854 Victoria to Joseph Nash and her death 16 Dec 1892 at Cootamundra.

regards Val

Thanks Val.

I'm slowly adding the transcriptions of today's images to my tree and posting them here.

Trying to work out Robert Hall's middle name. W... ? Not William. Must be Wesley.
