I am looking for information on Richard knowles 1886-1914, who supposed to have died in WW1. husband of elizabeth, living in workington, cumberland. We have never been able to find a death cetificate for him, then an elderly family member said she thinks that he never returned from the war. does anyone know how we can find any information on him?
