The upper case are all written above the line they are on, except for the L in Laidlaw. I initially ruled it out as a G not having a descender.

Very popular to have a casual marriage at Coldstream Bridge at that time. We have some notices from the papers of non conformist marriages in our archives but closed til 11 Jan. Will check then.
