OBITUARY
MRS. M. PETERSON.
Mrs. Maria Peterson, who died recently, was born on May 7, 1840 at Camden, and spent her early years at Cobbitty. Her husband, Mr. Seren Peterson, who was a native of Denmark, and died 22 years ago, was a mining engineer. In the seventies, at the time of the famous Hill End gold rush, he established extensive mining machinery. He later transferred his activities to North Queensland.
Mrs. Peterson was the mother of 13 children, of whom five are living. They are: Mr. J. P. Peterson (Brisbane), Mrs. J. Harding (South Strathfield), Mr. G. H. Peterson (Pendle Hill), Mrs. S. Upton (Melbourne), and Mrs. A. Moulday (Whindstanes, Queensland).
So far I can't find the marriage in Qld. or NSW of a Peterson to A. Moulday.
Helena Elizabeth married twice to become Mrs. J. Harding so possibly a sister also married twice.
