oh dear - I have wrong Mum for my great grandfather.... I know his father was Thomas as per marriage cert to Annie Varnham in 1916.

Any chance of finding more children to Mum Moore around Morpeth way and have found this marriage which I'll have to go and see if Thomas married a Laura or Mary Elizabeth Moore in..

Thanks for the link Geoff.. registered but found no other children... been looking on Mary Elizabeth - found 1901 census with them - so will have to do some backtracking from there..

received birth cert back - has
George Wilson b 9 Oct 1895 Bedlington Northumberland – Mother Ann Wilson formerly Moore – father coal Miner – x mark of Ann Wilson – reg 21st Nov 1895

1939 census shows his birthdate as 15 Oct 1895 - on the marriage cert it had father as Thomas Wilson and George was in 11 Regt Fuseliers when he married my nan in 1918

closest marriage I can find is a John Wilson to Annie Moore March qtr 1889 Tynemouth

Without double-checking, one of the possibles was b. c1834 and it seemed a bit wrong and complicated. The new info looks better to work with. If no one else sorts it, I'll have a look later, have to go now.

If Thomas remarried between 1892 and 1895 ??
