Murphy marriage

Could I ask some help please?/
Matthew Murphy was born 1862 Ross in the County of Wexford(according to his arrival papers when he emigrated to Prince Edward Island-Canada)
he married??(cannot find a marriage in Ireland)-Mary O`Neill who emigrated with him and we believe 2 children
---has I cannot find a marriage in Wexford -I wonder if they married in Canada-so can someone help with looking for the marriage please?
I have no other info on Matthew or Mary

I can only see one Matthew Murphy on PEI in 1901 and in 1911 (with dau only), age is well out so may not be yours :rolleyes:

1901
He was b. 1846 (Irish) and a widower. Occ. City official.
He's with:
Son, William R [15]
Dau, Mary J [8]
Sister, Sarah [looks like Caval] [57] wid
Neice, Winifred [20] unm

I'll try to get a copy of the image.

Hi there! I'm new to all of this, but saw your post about Matthew Murphy.....My research of the Smith family on PEI has led me to Thomas Murphy, grandson of Matthew. Thomas married the daughter of the Smith founder in PEI. I live down the road from the church where the Murphy family is buried and will be mapping out the family to go along with my research. If you would like me to look into anything on my end, I'd be happy to help.
