Here is a photograph of my Maternal Gran Sarah Donnelly nee Burrows, born
November 14th 1889. The Skeleton in the Family cupboard is that her parents William and Mary Jane didn't marry until 7thDecember 1889:eek:
I think this photo must have been taken around 1907.

Brede..is that in Holland?....that may account for the double dutch;)

The Barfoot family....my dad's mother's name are a long established Hampshire mob...but origanally it is thought they were from the Manchester area.
I do get drawn to hotpot.

This one is of my Great Gran Mary Jane Burrows b 1868 in Haydock. She died
aged 85 in 1953 in Leigh. Can you believe this tiny little woman gave birth to
9 Children:eek: I loved going to their house for Sunday Tea in the 50's. She and my Great Grandad lived with their unmarried daughter Ethel and I can
visualise the table with it's snowy white tablecloth, loaded down with Ham,
Salad, home made Singing Lily, Jelly, and a large jug of Celery(Which I still Love:kissu:) This photograph was in the local paper when Mary Jane and William celebrated their Diamond Wedding in 1949.
