My Father's early history.

Hello every one from a first timer.
I am interested in finding an early part of my dads life.
He was 8 at the 1911 census and he married when he was 25 in 1927.
He served in the Air Force in the early 20s and served in Mesopotamia (as it was then) for a time.
As far as I can find out he was out of the Air Force a couple of years before he married because he was a linesman for the Post Office at that time.

I am trying to find when he joined the Air Force and when he left, plus the early part of his Post Office career if that would be possible.

If there is any one out there who can guide me in the right direction I would be most appreciative. arram.

His name - Frederick Thomas McNicholl
Place of birth - Hull, Yorkshire, England
He was a Flight Mechanic in the Airforce.
His parents and family lived in Argyle St in Hull to the best of my knowledge he wasn't born there.
