Just recieved a picture of my Granny, from a first cousin who I managed to track down in October.
She has sent me a photo of our Granny Julia this morning.
What makes the photo especially brilliant, is the minature picture around her neck, is the photo that I have of my Grampy Ives.:kissu:

Here she is.:)

And here's the ol' fella.

A very happy Steve.:)

Great Steve....really,really top quality photos.

The old man has a mischievous look about him in a happy way.
Wierd thing though Lee, his great grandson(my nephew), looks the spitting image of him(minus the tash).
No one else in the family bears any resemblance to him.:2fun:

I've got a picture of Gran, when she was about 19yrs old. And one about 4yrs before she died. So this one fits nice and snug in the middle ish.:)

Steve.:)

Great photos Steve. It's good that relatives can pass on such things rather than throw them away.

A great aunt sent me some old photos a few months ago and I've not found a place where I can get them scanned yet.

Buy your own scanner Dave, it's cheaper.

Hopefully, my Cousin has got a few more photo's to pass on. Fingers and toes crossed.:)
I suppose I could ask her if Grans pendant is still about as well.

Steve.:)

I run a paperless office. :2fun:

I don't even have a printer attached to this computer. I found when I ordered an airline flight on-line I couldn't print the boarding pass. :2fun:

I might have to buy a 3-in-1.

:confused:How do you manage to run a paperless office? So if anything happened to your computer you would lose everything on your FH? Or you put it on disc?

Two different hard disks would both have to fail at the same time.

The database can be compressed into a ZIP so I email that to myself and a copy is kept on the email server. :)

Three years ago I sent a ZIP of my database via my gmail account to myself while I was in Ireland. I downloaded the actual program, the executable, from my sister's place and was able to update my database while there.

I just tried the same thing and gmail says that for security reasons it won't allow me to attach the ZIP because it contains an executable.

It does not contain the .EXE, only a compressed copy of the text database which is useless without the executable.

These things are sent to try us Dave.

My anti-virus gets over protective at times, even when it's been told to 'allow'.:2fun:

I just hope the machines that do take over are programmed by smart people.

Not by the sort of people who write anti-virus programs. :2fun:
