:) When i started family history,i had my parents birth cirts,so the info i needed was there. Then i sent of for the marriage cert, when it arrived i had a SHOCK.
in the part fathers name & surname,it says HENRY GEORGE RICHARDS,as my mothers father, but her birth cert has JOSEPH BRADLEY,this is the person i know as my grandfather, what i need to know,is do i take the name on the birth cert or marriage cert. How could somthing like this happen.

My mother is Joy C Bradley m 29 8 1927
married William A Christian 6 7 1946
Her parents are
Joseph Bradley b 1899
Doris M Pull b 1898

I would like now to find out who George Henry Richards was,but i have no idea of birth of place of birth.

Has any one else had the same problem
I welcome any feedback.

Kind Regards
Drew
