Jane was a widow but it lists the date of death of her husband.

I found the minister's name on a list of CofE ministers in Sydney Diocese in 1867.

Well it definitely begins Gar it's what comes after that is a bit difficult. It could be d or it could be th - Gard or Garth

Some are difficult. I'll check the BDM.

Can't find a John with middle initial S and Gar...

Several deaths in NSW for Garth and Gard but no middle names in index.
