Hi Pauline

TNA has records which in some instances can go back to the 11th century. They contain many army, navy, hospital, government records, nonconformist records and now the civil registers of Births, Marriages and Deaths, wills, army lists, maps, plans you name it. I have been there 3 times now.

The coverage of individual parish records is to be found more at county record offices rather than the TNA though. But the TNA is very extensive.

Hi Pauline

The civil registers just contain the indexes. But there are many nonconformist registers which should list parents if you are interested in these. What are you hoping to find tomorrow?
