Can I ask your opinions please,
my x 2 Great grandmother Elizabeth Cronin possibly from Cork was living with who I thought was her husband Jeremiah Harrington. Jeremiah was born in 1800 and I have no idea where he was from. The family were living in Southwark, Surrey and in 1840 Jeremiah Died. In 1843 Elizabeth remarries in a catholic church in a Belgium chapel to a George Plunkett. Here is the thing, Elizabeth states she is a spinster and married using her maidename of Cronin.
Does this mean she probably never married Jeremiah Harrington.

best wishes
