Hi Steve
Many thanks for the two websites. One I cannot access, and the Olive Tree one will need some time to go through.
I have had some more communications with a step-niece of Graham who appeared on WDYTYA. He has also sent me more details most of which I had but also others but not of any help with Robert Reubin. I may have to employ a researcher in London with that line. I have got the information that he got his medical degree in Giessen in Germany. My brother tells me that they were very good in that era. Giessen uni started in the 1600's.
The next thing is to email them in English and hope that they can help in the Archive Dept. My German is non-existent !!
I am hoping to get some more information on the Gill line in Medway ,Kent soon, and then I am going to have to bite the bullet and start putting all on the computer. Oh!!!
I really would like to finish Christopher's side of things and then I can restart my Welsh lot. There will not be many on here that can help me.!! That means a trip to Aberystwyth of at least a week. It is not worth going for less than that.
Again , many thanks
Maddie
