Hi All,
No I havn"t joined my dear departed ancestors, or eloped with Paxo(Worse Luck) I have just had to give myself a break as I was going round in circles and meeting myself coming back
(Not a Pretty Sight)
Anyway I feel refreshed and ready to go again, and try and knock down a few more Brick Walls
I have bought anoth 5 various ertificates which have given me a bit more info. I didn"t know anything about my GGGrandad not even his name, but I have bought a Marriage Cert. for my GGUncle and according to that, his name was Michael Meledy and he was a Soldier (He was also Deceased by 1896) My GGGran Elizabeth was born in Calcutta India in 1866, has anyone any idea how I can find out which Regiments were serving there then? I honestly have no idea where to start
It really is becoming quite spooky
this connection between Michaels and soldiers in my family. As I have mentioned before, I called my son Michael and he served with the Paras , and of course then I knew nothing about my Relies
Any suggestions on how to take another brick out of this particular wall would be greatly appreciated.
Happy Hunting All
Luv Littlemo
