Norah Hagin

I am trying to track down the birth of a Norah Hagin on the 1881 census it says that she was born in Accrington Lancashire married George Arkwright and lived in Blackburn. Do you know if Hagin was an irish name.

Many thanks, I think now the name be also be spelt Hagan so I will now check that
out for the birth thanks for all the info will check out the sites tonight. I have found marriage but still looking for birth
