Norfolk and Suffolk ancestors of Londoners.

Hi

I have met both online and in the flesh a few fellow genealogists who are London born and bred and they have a few generations of ancestors in London but their research has taken them back to Norfolk or Suffolk. A lot of Londoners can claim East Anglia ancestry. My London born great grandmother had a Norfolk born ancestor. I think in 1901 50'000 Norfolk people and about the same amount of Suffolk people were living in London.

My gt gt grandparents George and Rebecca Hardingham came from Harleston/Redenhall, Norfolk and moved to Marylebone.

My ancestor Dennis Helsdon moved to Bethnal green from Norwich in Norfolk in about 1780 with siblings.

Well Ben, you now know where my ancestors came from, and eventually went too.
But I do believe that some of Benjamin Moores children, ended up in the 'smoke'.
