Qld. Birth 1878/C05004 Davidson Norman Alexander - John - Elizabeth Alice Noble

Enlisted - S/N 95 3rd Qld. Mounted Infantry - Corporal 12 Apr 1900 - Severely wounded at Eland's R. 6 Aug 1900 - Invalided to Australia arrived 10 Dec 1900 - Mentioned in Despatches London Gazette 27 Sep 1901 Distinguished Conduct Medal - Sergeant Doyle's Scouts, KSA & 2 clasps.

Sometime after this Norman returned to SA and was married 9 Oct 1902 in Durban to Ethel Mary Young who was born in England and may have been a widow at the time of their marriage. Ethel Mary Davidson died in 1958. It is also possible they had a daughter Ethel Mary who married Thomas Sydney Osbourne in 1962.
Died 1946 in Northern Rhodesia?

Have not confirmed any of that. Don't know if there was a daughter or if that's the 2nd or 3rd marriage in 1962 for Ethel Mary.

This one is way out on a branch of my tree.

Looks like Ethel Mary died in 1958. So if there is a marriage in 1962 it must be a daughter named Ethel Mary.
