A couple of other researchers have the 1896 death as Jones for Elizabeth. One points to an 1894 remarriage, not validated.

There is this..

Thos Jones
Marriage Registration Year: 1894
Place: Victoria, Australia
Spouse: Elizth Lloyd
Reference Number: 4644

If this is her, she must have only been 17y when she first married.

Thanks gibbo.

Thanks Geoff.

Only 3x Lloyd exiles listed and one in Moreton Bay and others in NSW.

My internet connection is very slow this morning.

over 30x Evan Lloyd in Wales in 1841 census.

Does the exile have an ident record in Tas Archives?

Tried Glamorgan Ass. 4 Jul 1842 10 years does not have S or M for single or married.

No trade or native place or parents and siblings in Remarks column.

It seems that those who passed through Hobart for Victoria don't have full records on Tas. Archives.

No help then with NP and parents and siblings.

Only one Evan in Glamorgan in 1841 census and he does not fit.

One online tree has Evan marrying a Mary Lewis in 1830 not validated, also a birth cert. for a David b. 1839. Looks as though Evan's occ is a pudler, not pedlar. I'll send you a copy.
