Then 1858 he has a notice in the paper in regards to a Richard NORRIS

Could John's real name be Norris and alias Makepeace?? Just strange how the name Norris is mentioned in the above article so maybe his proper name was Norris and not Makepeace like the convict record stated??

Maybe the above Richard Norris was his father??

Can't read or write but was appointed constable ?

The 1842 Ident has him Married.
