In the late 18th century he made regular trips from Norfolk to Somerset and would set off from the Kings Head in Norwich at 8 or 9 in the evening and travel through the night and stop off at Bury St Edmunds for breakfast the following morning and arrive at his inn in London at 2 or 3 the following afternoon.
That is amazing. So taking out the time he stopped I estimate about 14 hours travelling.
