Obediah Dyer aka John Obed Dyer

#1
Hi
I am really seeking conformations about the John Dyer I have in my tree is the correct person!
I have 1841 census showing Obediah Dyer, then 1851 through 1881 as John Obed Dyer.
He was a printer and employed my gt.grandfather James Hunt (hence he became a printer too!) after the marriage to his daughter Elizabeth Sarah Dyer.
They were all living under one roof in 1871 census at Margravine Road, Fulham, presumably where John Dyer traded from (I'd love to learn his company / trading name too). John Dyer here was a "printer, undertaker and Methodist local Preacher".
I then have 1891 census showing a "Dyer, Jno....Bookbinder" as inmate at Wormwood Scrubs - could this really be the same John Dyer.
I'd be fascinated to hear of anyone who might have researched Obediah / John Obed Dyer and any comments you may have.
Richard
