My grandads cousin is 95. Born in 1914. The next one is my maternal grandad William's mothers youngest brother aged 90.

The 95 year old is a whopping 68 years older than me. That is a lot wouldn't you agree?

But compared to the ages of the Earth and the Universe we are the same age. ;)

My oldest living relative was a day short of 97 when she died - and yet, the quality of life is important I think. I visit a friend's mother regularly in a nursing home where the majority of them seem, sadly, just "waiting for God" - the liveliest, mentally, by far is a lady of 101 who today was very avidly expressing her opinion that "That new fella Barack hasn't done enough to warrant a Nobel award"
