If that is the right John and Ellen then one daughter should be Ellen b. abt 1833 Cork and a gap for other children.

A Joseph born abt 1839 NZ.

Or is Joseph John's brother with wife Ann and daughter Frances?

Marianne Josephine b. abt 1828 Cork
Frances Ellen b. abt 1829 Cork
Joseph Benjamin b. abt 1835 Cork
Kate (Catherine) b. abt 1839 Sydney ? but no birth reg in NZ or NSW.

Then there should be 2x or 3x Joseph and 2x Ellen.

I could move on to 'P' and Peacock.

The 2 sons married 2 sisters (Ellen & Ann OSBORNE). After their father's death in early 1830s these 2 couples, together with the wives' brother, emigrated as paying passengers to Sydney, NSW, Australia, arriving in 1837.

So an Osborne arrived with them.
