Hi - Holder upper

I used to be one of these. In my case it was with wood, whereas in this case it would be iron rods. Whilst the welder welded at one end, the holder upper would be at the other end, holding the rod in the right position. 'Simples' I must say it was a part time job just after I left school, whilst I was waiting for the start of training for my real job..

Hi

I see you are researching Wilkinson / Wilkenson, Dawson
I have the same family, Margaret,Mary Jane,James,Stephen DAWSON
James Dawson married a Faith Hannah Atrmitage 1901 Hunslet and I have seen the marriage cert on Ancestry
Mary Jane maried Thomas Wilkinson in 1888
Margaret married George Newlove in 1877 Stockton & it loks like they didnt have any children of their own?
On the forum I note that you say that you were awaiting Robert Henry Wilkinson's birth cert was his mothers name Dawson? and does it say the addrress where he was born?

Speak soon
