Not sure what to do :confused: Will see what the other family members think when i talk to them next. As Ellie said the price is a bit steep.

I already have the death certificate Ellie so that would be one cost less.

That's robbery, to see essentially our records, which were bought and paid for by our rellies via taxation.:mad::mad:

BUT.....

Findmypast annual subscribers can request a check of the closed records free of charge and if successful, the record will be made available via the online service. Please note in order to access this service you will be required to provide proof of death, mostly commonly by providing a death certificate.

I wonder if they would have look for free, if an exisiting FMP member asked, and could use a photo copy of the death cert.:confused:
