Can any birth or death cert be found showing parents names.

Born 1902 died 17/4/1984 NSW

Family rumour he might have been adopted when real Father Mr drumgold killed in Boer war

It has always been thought his parents Alfred Joass and Lucy Aller were his real parents, but maybe not.

Hi oz,

Found a birth index for him. Dont quote me on this as i dont know much about adoption but when they were adopted i think they were given a new birth cert. with their new name on it so not sure if finding the birth index would help in finding out if he was adopted or not. I will have a look and see if i can find anything else. Someone else who has more knowledge than me on the adoption side of things might be able to confirm if im right or wrong. Hope that lot didnt confuse you any.
