The Frederick J Bickerton who was living with the Packer family in Westbury-on-Severn in the 1880s was my father's father. Frederick later changed his name to Biggerton as well as married Sarah Ann Biggerton in 1905.

Frederick was with the Packer family from around 2 years old to 12 maybe longer.

I am wondering why he was living with the Packer family - where was his family and who were they?

Any help would be really helpful.

Is it also possible that Frederick John Biggerton lived with Frederick PARRY for a couple of years and then had his name changed when he lived with the PACKERS?
