I am hoping to trace my family but am going to need some help. My Grandmother's name was Helen Parker and she was born somewhere around 1902. She was one of 16 children, 14 Girls & 2 Boys. The 2 Boys were killed in the war. The girls i presume have married - hence the parker name will now be gone. Helen married my grandfather John Hymns and had 2 children. My mother is Brenda Winifred Hymns born 2/4/1940 and her older brother also John Hymns (birth date unsure but older than my mother). Helen died when my mother was about 19. I would love to find any living relatives. Please help.

Hi Cazz,

Ooh lots of people to find. What area did they come from?. Have you any christian names for the brothers and sisters?. I'll have a look on the bmd for the people you have mentioned.

The Salvation Army trace living people but I dont know to what extent. There are people who search for living relatives but at a cost.
You could always use Genes Reunited their sited is listed on this forum under forum adverts. Findmypast have the census and bmd plus other resources these are are pay per view, see link below. There are telephone directories, electorial registers.
