Hi,
I've been looking at my fathers family and have gone backwards quite a way with a lot of help from many on here. I would like some help looking more recently at my Grandfathers brothers. My Grandfather died when my father was 14 so we don't have much knowledge of my fathers uncles and aunties.
I am looking at the 2 brothers I already know of;
Maurice Parker 1897 mother Mary Ann Hall 1870 and father James Parker 1858
Laurie Parker 1900 mother Mary Ann Hall 1870 and father James Parker 1858
Any help anybody can give would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, apologies. They were born in Bradford west Yorkshire. I can't find a death record for their mother Mary either. Not sure if either was married or had kids. Also not sure if either served in the war.

Hi,
Yes I believe that's them. I have a family letter that says there may have been 4 brothers but I can't find the fourth. I did find the same death date for Maurice but don't see any other family.

Hi p.risboy,

Really appreciate your help on this. The more I learn the more I want to know. It's fascinating to find out a lot of my family worked and lived where I now live. I would be one of the last Textile Workers in the line. My mother is Maltese and I am trying to get information on her side from Family in Malta. It was a need to find out about my Grandad and his War service that sparked my interest and it's grown from there. His immediate family has been interesting to me as they were not a close family and I would like to learn more, especially his brothers.
Anyway thanks again for your help, much appreciated.

Steve
