I am looking for my mothers marriage to my father.

I beleive they got married in Colchester Essex in 1967 but may of been 1966.

My mothers name was Patricia M J Sawyer born 16 Aug 1931. But she was married before she married my father and i belive her fist husbands surname was Cox ( but not 100% certain).

My fathers name was Rafael Rey-Barros Born 13 Nov 1941 in Coruna in Spain.

I certainly know they lived and worked together at the Swan hotel Lavenham Suffolk before they married.

If any one could point me in the right direction for either of my mothers marriage details but esp her marriage to my father.

I have ordered my mothers birth certificate, which will be a great help for me.
I havnt ordered a marriage certificate as yet. Just out interest what information can i get from the marriage certificate?

date of marriage,where and when, witnesses names, ages, rank or profession, residence at time of marriage, fathers name & profession which is very useful & helps when going backwards
