Hello crankypants,

Thank you very much. It looks like the one born in SA but if the Victorian one then he had 8 siblings!

Regards,

Dave

Hello crankypants,

A sibling:

Mary Ann ANGEL b. 1862 d. 1955 Chatswood

married 14 Mar 1886 Fitzroy

We visited this in the ANGEL thread trying to find the mysterious sick aunt in Goulburn that Mary Ann was sent to care for. There she met her future husband.

Frederick Owen FURNER b. 1861 Goulburn d. 1939 Chatswood

1881-1882 Application for Trade Marks titled The Coote Blend, The Eagle Blend, The Choicest Exhibition Blend, The **** Brand Mixture, The India and China Choicest Mixture in respect of tea - by John Coote, Joseph Alexander Bull and Frederick Owen Furner trading as J.A. Bull and Company

Elected to Sydney Stock Exchange 1899 - Seat sold 1936

Moved from Randwick to 'Strathdoon' Church St Pymble in 1906. Moved into 'Corinda' 301 Mowbray Rd, Chatswood in 1916/1917 - which was bought over the front fence for 600 pounds.
Fred joined the Sydney Stock Exchange and later established the stock broking firm F.O. Furner & Co.
Later Furner & Brownhill, Stock and Share Brokers, Falmouth Chambers, 117 Pitt St, Sydney. (1917)

Please see what else you can find in PO Directories and ER, etc...

Thanks.

Dave

Hello crankypants,

This is a possible:

Surname: PEARCE
Given Names: Wm Arth
Event: D
Father: Unknown
Mother: Unknown UNKNOWN
Age: 50
Death Place: Cbellfd = Campbellfield I presume
Year: 1919
Reg. Number: 11048

Campbellfield is not that far from Smiths Gully where spouse Louisa died, but neither are near Fitzroy where they lived in 1919.

Since there are two there should be another death:

Thomas Robert PEARCE married 1864 #3806 Amelia FELL and lived at Clunes.
Children
1. Thomas Roberts Pearce 1865
2. Hy Pearce 1868
3. William Arthur Pearce 1870 #1420 *** d. ??
4. George Frederick Pearce 1872
5. Alfred Pearce 1874
6. Amelia Annie Pearce 1877
7. Edwin Victor Pearce 1879
8. Lawry Roberts Pearce 1881
9. Albert Ernest Pearce 1882

Please see what you can find.

Thanks.

Hello crankypants,

Thank you very much. Preston is not much help in deciding which one it is.

I checked Wills, Probate, etc...and found nothing that seemed to fit.

Dave

Hello crankypants,

Thank you very much. Fred & Mary are my great grandparents. One Sunday Fred walked down Mowbray Rd from 321 my grandparents home to 301 'Corinda' and bought it over the front gate for 600 pounds! It was a a large house with tennis court probably on 4 lots.

Regards,

Dave

Hello I am new here - so be patient with me. I am looking for PEARCE family in australia. John William PEARCE and not having much luck. His marriage certificate says born Goulburn 1865 parents Jon PEARCE and Lucy BELL ( I cannot find any records to support this). His death details say he was born in England? I can find nothing other than marriage cert and death details. He is my G-grandfather. He married Margaret Noble in 1889 in Charters Towers.

Is anyone connected or can help with this family?
