Perrin Household 268 HACKNEY

Well-known member
Lakeland, Florida, USA
Looking at the 1901 census and searching for the family of:
Alfred PERRIN - born around 1890 - 1895 (a guess from marriage date) in the London area.

I found several families - concentrating on KENSINGTON and HACKNEY

One entry has me intrigued:

Albert PERRIN in HOUSEHOLD 268 - birth year 1893 - so he would have been about 8 years old.
HOWEVER, there are no other PERRIN's in that household, BUT, a lot of other individuals of varying ages.

Is HOUSEHOLD 268 [HACKNEY KENSINGTON] a hospital - workhouse or some other type of institution?
