Peter Menzies -census Midlothian

I wonder if you can help me I have searched scotlands people and cannot find my great grandfather Peter Menzies. I know he is still with his parents John Menzies would be age 40 and is a joiner journeyman and Isabella Ferguson wouls also be age 40.

There are 2 other siblings Alexander who would be age 17 and may have left home and John who would be age 12 Peter is age 15 in the census. They may be other siblings that I don't know of and freecen should's nothing either.

I have the 1841 census and it says the father was born outside the county this is why I am searching for the 1851 so I can trace his birth. The rest of the family was born in Midlotian. In 1841 they stayed at 107 Canogate, Lochends Close Midlothian.

John Menzies, son, age 12, midlothian
Rachel Menzies, wife, age 36, midlothian,

living at Mino Park

I know that Peter Menzies mother was Isabella, i will try to find out whether she died, as males were not single for long they soon remarried if their wife died. everything else seems to be correct, let me know if you want me to find any other info for you, i only became member in november 2007, but always try to look for people who are asking for help and not had replies.
