Peter Miln Duncan Scotland - New Zealand

Peter Miln (various spellings of his middle name) Duncan, son of shipowner/merchant Peter M snr, born in Dundee 25 Feb 1859 and was still single age 22 occ. jute merchant's clerk living with his parents and siblings on the 1881 census return. From then except for his death date of 27th Aug 188 in Auckland New Zealand I know nothing about him. I would welcome any info re passenger list/arrival in New Zealand/marriage if any etc

I cant find a marriage in NZ for him.

Passenger list to NZ are a pain unless you know the name of the ship. Will keep checking tho.

Nothing leaping out on his arrival year to N.Z.

Found his 1859 birth and 1888 death notice in the Dundee Courier.

If his father was a ship owner maybe he wont be on any passenger lists, might have got a free trip out here.

Disregard the above, i think the ship was a coastal steamer and not a passenger ship as such.
