MR. PHILLIP CHOWN.
The death occurred in Grenfell Hospital on Friday of Mr. Phillip Chown, who had been an inmate of tho institution, for three weeks, but had been. ailing for a long period. He was 72 years of ago. Deceased who was an esteemed resident of the Burrowa district retired from active work about fom' years ago, and came ? to live at Grenfell, ohe of his' daughters (Mrs, Buckmaster) being already in resideuce here. He leaves a widow and ten children — Messrs.- James and Cecil Chown, and 'Mrs. E. Privett (Bowning), Mrs. -Humphries (Mildurn), Malcolm (Forbes), Colin and Agnes (Sydnty), Mrs. Buckmaster (Gnm felP Kenneth (Grenfell). He was of a' family of 14, of whom odd brother and sister survive. A niece of the late Mr. Chown's was Matron Chown, formerlv in charge of Grenfell District Hospital. . The funeral loft Holy Trinity Church on Saturday afternoon, following a service conducted by Rev. A. S. Rowe, who also officiated at the cemetery.
