Hi,

A warm welcome to FHUK. I will delete your other post as it's duplicated.
Can you please confirm Philips year of birth.

:)
Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you very much for the details.
Year of birth : 1874 London UK
Join the jewish legion 1918 ( General Allenby Egyptian Expeditionary Force )
in London and was sent to fight in Palestine. After the Greate war stayed
in Palestine.
Thats what I know. I am try to trace his activities and career before 1918,
during the war, especially 1915/1916.
Thanks in advance.

I have found phone directory entries for a Philip Frederic Philips between 1914 and 1918.
I do not know if he is your man.

The address in the directory is the same for all years from 1914 to 1918, but then they stop.

The address is:- 183, Coleherne Court, London, SW5.

There is a picture here:- http://www.realpropertytours.com/tours/15/01/02/0003/images/pic1.jpg

I do not know the history of this building, but it does look like typical officers quarters. But I do not know for sure.
Perhaps someone else could find out. If the address turns out to be as I say, then it could be your man's home.
