Pig.

Whist searching through the parish registers for entries for Ruth Allen. I came upon this entry, which I found to be mildly humorous, as follows:-

Burial. 1st. January 1821. John Allen called PIG. Aged 76 of Loosley Row. a pauper.

I wonder if he has a grave marker, and what 'legacy' did he leave his 'piglets'.

Anyone else come across such an entry.
