Thanks Geoff.

Parents could be John & Elizabeth. Still curious how we get one on baptism and the other on death reg.

John WRIGHT and Elizabeth POLL perhaps.

Yes, William and Frances travelled with them in 1852. William had 2 brothers in NSW.

On the vessel image, James states his parents are James Wright and Elizabeth Poll. Father living at Mileham, Norfolk. Ann also says her father is on board, William confirms this..

James Wright
Marriage Date: 29 Mar 1821
Marriage Place: Mileham, Norfolk, England
Spouse: Elizabeth Poll

There appears to be a few children born to them, no dates though

A possible:

Name: Elizabeth Wright
Event Type: Census
Event Date: 1861
Gender: Female
Age: 62
Relationship to Head of Household: Wife
Birthplace: Tittleshall, Norfolk
Schedule Type: Household
Registration District: Mitford
Sub-District: 5 Litcham
Ecclesiastical Parish:
Parish: Mileham
Residence County: Norfolk

Searching for James does not find him.

May or may not be the right one.

There are a few in Mileham itself.

From the info in the vessel notes you get the impression Elizabeth (mother) had died by then, i.e. only mentioning father, James.

Oh. You are correct. As of 1852 it says Father living at Mileham. Therefore mother had died.

I've looked at some trees and they are very wrong. They have the correct death in 1902 in Crookwell for James and the right wife Anne Bensley but they have his mother as Ann PRATT.

This one or earlier:

Deaths Sep Qtr 1851
WRIGHT Elizabeth Mitford &c 13 355

One death before 1841 and four between census and the one after 1851 census and before 1852.

Deaths Dec Qtr 1839
Wright Elizabeth Mitford 13 153

31 trees and they all get something wrong. Wrong father, wrong mother, wrong wife, wrong year of birth, wrong pob, wrong children. None have his middle name as Wright.
