Popping in to introducce myself

Hello I am "Misty"
I have been researching my family history since 1998. Most of the work I have to do on-line as I currently live in North Wales and my family come from Middlesex, Berkshire, Worcestershire and Kent in the main. So, only now and again can I get to local archives. But it has been fruitful and last year I did have a long weekend in Berkshire and travelled around the area to the villages where those ancestors had lived. Even found some of their homes still standing.
I am also reearching my half-brothers side of the family, and my partners. Keeps me busy :biggrin:

Hi Misty,

My names Carol I also have the same problem as you I come from Lancashire and my relatives are from Farnham and Henley on Thames in Surrey so I find it difficult. I am hoping to visit Farnham next year to have a look around and see where the families lived and died. keep searching

Hi Misty welcome to the Family, I am a newbie myself, and like you I am living a long distance from where my ancestors are from:'(
My own family are from lancashire as well, but I am living in the republic of Ireland! so like you I am doing research via long distance:biggrin: !
