Hello crankypants,
It's ok. Perhaps I should have had Minnie in my head. :2fun: I looked in the index in my database and didn't find a Minnie POWELL, but there is one of course in 1903:
1903 N.S.W Electoral Roll - WENTWORTH-GLENMORE POLLING-PLACE
2630 Powell Minnie, 40 Comber-street, domestic duties
2631 Powell William George Henry, 40 Comber-street, carpenter
Although I have nothing else that says Miriam was known as Minnie.
The Sydney Morning Herald - Saturday 27 February 1932 p.12
DEATHS
POWELL.-February 19, 1932, at Coast Hospital (suddenly), Miriam, dearly beloved wife of William G. H. Powell of Leura 37 Duxford street Paddington, and mother of Will, Amy, Charles (deceased), George, Reg, Alma, Lila, Stan, Ruby, and Edie, aged 60 years.
So if that Minnie in 1913 is the spouse then it's a different address for the carpenter.
I don't have an Edward or Adeline in my tree. ???
Birth: 4175/1875 POWELL EDWARD EDWARD ADELINE NEWTOWN
Ok it looks as though Edward and Adeline are not part of my family.
Regards,
Dave
